Motomondialul a aterizat pe circuitul de mare traditie din Franta, Le Mans, un circuit unde vremea este in mare masura actorul principal, instabilitatea meteorologica bine cunoscuta putand influenta evolutia pilotilor, totodata prezinta potentialul de a crea mari surprize. Ploaia si-a facut aparitia sporadic in primele doua sesiuni de antrenamente, dar pilotii de la clasa mare au fost totusi privati de conditii pline de vicistitudine, circuitul prezentandu-se in conditii relativ ideale, pilotii echipand prototipurile cu pneuri slick.

Dani Pedrosa ( Repsol Honda ) a stabilit in ambele sesiuni de antrenamente libere timpul reper, iar a doua sesiune a adus o “dubla” a pilotilor de uzina Honda, Marc Marquez ( Repsol Honda ) terminand pe locul doi. Timpul stabilit de Pedrosa a fost 1m 34.035sec, Marquez venind aproape, la 0.134sec, Valentino Rossi ( Yamaha ) a terminat sesiunea a doua la 0.138sec, acompaniat de campionul mondial in exercitiu, Jorge Lorenzo ( Yamaha ), la 0.166sec de leader.

Stefan Bradl ( Honda LCR ) a terminat sesiunea a doua de calificari in pozitia a cincea, la 0.264sec, urmat de britanicul Cal Crutchlow ( Yamaha Tech3 ), la o diferenta de 0.477sec. Primul prototip Ducati s-a clasat pe locul sase, Andrea Dovizioso, la 0.543sec, urmat de coechiperul sau, Nicky Hayden, la 0.555sec.

Diferentele in top 10 sunt de o secunda, cel putin, conform calculelor, cursa prezinta un mare potential de a fi animata, spectaculoasa. Sambata, vremea se anunta a fi ploioasa, actualul clasament putandu-se dovedi a fi foarte important in stabilirea grilei de start, in conditiile in care sesiunile de sambata se vor desfasura pe circuit umed.

Daca in schimb, Le Mans ne va rezerva un circuit uscat, putem preconiza un spectacol frumos. Primele trei curse ne-au rezervat un castigator diferit, campionatul se afla in stadiu incipient, dar fiecare punct este important iar lupta pentru suprematie va fi dificila pentru orice pilot ce va fi angrenat in lupta pentru titlu.
